Then it must have changed after I left - cause that's how I grew up pronouncing it in the 60s living in MA.

I put hot sauce on everything!

 

Even better yet, I opened a bottle of vitamin D on a Friday, took one and put it underneath my monitor and on my work desk so I'd see it and remember to take it. The next day I was in the office was on a Tuesday and my bottle of vitamin D was nearly empty.

 

So I took that bottle home with me that night, emptied what was left into another bottle then I took some laxatives and pepper extract, put it in capsules and put it in my vitamin D bottle. People stopped stealing my vitamin D pretty quickly after that.
