Terminal box

I am looking at getting a new terminal box for next year. I’m using a Plano 3601 and it’s alright, I do love how thin it is. I’m eyeing up the new Plano edge 3600 terminal, does anyone have one yet?

I use a 3600 size bag, right now I use 4 boxes. I’ve considered going to something different, maybe a backpack, and downsizing to two 3700s, in which case opens up my options. I’m turned into a bit of a minimalist.

What does everyone think of Plano edge 3700 terminal vs h20 academy vs bass mafia?

I looked at those 3 and just got the H20 in the mail yesterday.  I like it . Went from a 3600 .. it was just to crammed.

The Plano Edge is nice as well just got the 3700 slim for cranks , ploppers and jerk baits

The 3700 edge thin is a great box for hooks and sinkers. Used it most of this year and it worked great bouncing around in the boat.

If you want to stay with the 3600 size, the bass mafia icebox has been really good. Except for not having foam slots to hold weights, it seems like it was made for this use case.

The new Spro box, the smoke one has double the slots for better customization for your tackle.  I bought two and they are really nice and a super value.

I keep seeing that Plano Edge terminal tackle come up on forums.  They've now come up with a 3600 size, so there's no way I'm going to clean up my tackle this winter without buying a couple.

I have the 3700 slim Edge as well, it is the best terminal tackle box I have put my hands on. The extra money is worth the fact that you don't have to cut the plastic off the dividers (I HATE CUTTING UP DIVIDERS!).

You aren't alone in that hate!

I have the H2O Xpress terminal box. I am a big fan of it. It rides in my bank fishing bag, so it gets tossed around constantly. I almost never experience any "escapees" from one compartment to the next. Also love the foam inserts for bullet weights and neko nail weights. All that combined with the low price, it's hard to beat for my purposes.

I also think the H2O is a great valued box.  If they make a 3600, I'm all over it.

I like the looks of that box too. It’s way more space than I need though. I think the Plano 3600 terminal is what I’m going to end up with.
