Super User TOXIC Posted November 6, 2020 Super User Posted November 6, 2020 Going out to check the Crappie honey holes to see if they are moving in. Will not keep any until the water temp drops and we have our first hard freeze. Quote
TcRoc Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Oh yes. My wife saw the 7 day forecast the other day and said guess I won’t be seeing u for awhile. My response.. next time u see me I’ll have a beard. I packed the Yaks away to early . I’ll be happy from the banks . Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 6, 2020 Global Moderator Posted November 6, 2020 Going for smallmouth/striper busting baitfish Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted November 6, 2020 Super User Posted November 6, 2020 Went from 80's all week to a cold front and light rain showers today and when I could have gone Sunday it's supposed to snow at home and rain at the lake followed by temps in the 20's. Hoping the timing for next weekend works out better! Quote
MidwestBassAttack Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I’m out as we speak! Sunny and low 70’s up here in the Chicago suburbs until Tuesday.... Quote
Big Hands Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Does this morning count? It's gonna rain here this weekend, so I got on it and had a great morning on the Carolina rig. Quote
Big Rick Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Sigh.... beautiful fishing weather this weekend in east central Ms and I'm manning the smoker. Got a turkey breast, 6 racks of baby backs, and a ham to smoke for a family gathering Saturday. At least I'll be eating good. My birthday is next Wednesday so I plan to make a trip or two next week, weather permitting. Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted November 6, 2020 Super User Posted November 6, 2020 I will be hitting the banks for some Yellow Perch fishing. Hopefully some Smallmouth will show up as well. Quote
lo n slo Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 i went out today for about 4 hours, caught 7 spots, one on a spinner bait and the rest on a texas rig. swts are around 60 degrees. i’ll be back out there Sunday morning. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted November 6, 2020 Global Moderator Posted November 6, 2020 I was supposed to this afternoon with the wife but I couldn’t get out of work in time. I’m going for sure tomorrow or Sunday, or both (hopefully both). This will probably be the last time this year. Now for the dilemma, which lake to fish? 2 Quote
NittyGrittyBoy Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I'll be going to a local pay pond, tannic water full of cypress trees and mats. Lots of punching in store for tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get on em, maybe have a good frog bite too Quote
BigAngus752 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I had today (Fri) and Sun set aside for fishing but after going out for 4hrs this morning I’m done for now. The weather has turned awful for fishing. Near record high temps have brought the water temps up 7-8 degrees. We were KILLING them in the backs of coves and at pinch points with schools of gizzard shad. That has all stopped now. Cold front and cold rain on Tues. hopefully that gets the shad back shallow again. Quote
MGF Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 We'll have the canoe on the river chasing SMB Quote
Michigander Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Taking the Triton out tomorrow for its last run of the year, then winterizing it. Sunday will be on the kayak. ? 2 Quote
Way north bass guy Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 If we weren’t in the middle of our two week gun hunt for deer, I’d be pulling the boat back out of hibernation for the weekend. Figures that as soon as I winterized it we get almost summer like weather for a week. Oh well, I’ll be out in the woods tomorrow first thing, that’ll work too. 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted November 6, 2020 Super User Posted November 6, 2020 Going to head out tomorrow and do some pond hopping. This may be the last nice weekend we have for awhile so I’m going to enjoy it Quote
The Bassman Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Gonna hit it hard this weekend. 70+ weather here. Just wish there was going to be a little more wind. Really helps me on the ponds I fish. Got out today and had lots of action, just no big ones. Quote
Kyle S Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I'll be on the Pamunkey River at 6am sharp, texas rig rage bug in hand. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted November 6, 2020 Super User Posted November 6, 2020 I'm heading out Saturday morning . This could be the final trip of the year . I want to get on the lake before sunup and go to the farthest reaches of the elec. motor only lake . Then simply fish my way back . I'll get back just before dark . If I'm lucky I'll have a bass worthy of the latest catch pic thread . 1 Quote
detroit1 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Going tommorow and maybe sunday if i do okay. I try to get out at least once in november before i'm done, and mid 60's temps in nov. is pretty sweet. 1 Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted November 7, 2020 Super User Posted November 7, 2020 I won't be fishing this weekend. I plan on going Monday and this will probably be my last trip out this year. I will be be glad to put an end to what has been my most disappointing year fishing I have ever had. Quote
AnotherInstanceOfMe Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Will go with my daughter either to Liberty Reservoir or Piney Run Lake at Saturday. However, we are opened for options if anybody from Mount Airy, Frederick, Westminster or SE Pennsylvania going to fish somewhere. Quote
