Finally being able to change the width to match that of the browser window is awesome. When I have the time I'll poke around and let you know if I find anything weird. That's actually what I do for a living!

As an Agile Coach and Scrum Master for a couple dev teams, I'm gonna have to ask you to limit your WIP to two items at once.

I'm working in kanban now because I switched to the publishing team last year, I kinda miss Scrum. Just don't tell my manager. Or my old Scrum Master.

I'm not a big fan of Kanban, Trello, or any similar project management software.  I guess I'm an old school spreadsheet kinda guy.

@Glenn Trello is only useful if you need to track issues with some small developer on the other side of the planet and you can't give him access to the corporate tools.

For everything else, Jira is life ❤️

This website is without a doubt one of the best web experiences out there.   It's easy to navigate and the wealth of information available is astounding.   The new layout is great.   What amazes me is the lack of bullies and Internet trolls.  Everyone is respectful and willing to share their knowledge.  The owners are to be congratulated.  Great Job!!

I keep finding features that I really love now. I'm gonna be around more often now. It seemed that from 9-6am every time I went to browse the Forum it would be down. This comes as a relief. Thank you again y'all

Thanks for all the kind words guys!  Glad you like the new site. I realize it's an adjustment, and change can be difficult when it's "forced" upon you.  

 

This is why I spent the past 18 months working feverishly on this project. I wanted the experience to be a major improvement, thus making the transition easier for everyone. I built a myriad of new sections and navigation tools across the site to enable you to find articles and videos easier. 

 

Did you know we have over 10,000 articles?  I sure didn't!  And if I couldn't find an article or video when I knew it existed, you couldn't either. So I worked hard to improve discoverability, navigation, categorization, and flow.

 

To support this, all the back-end infrastructure....everything, everything, everything was upgraded and brand-spanking new.  It's literally the largest and most comprehensive update in BassResource history.

 

But you never really know how the changes will be received until you launch it.

 

So I'm grateful for the positive remarks and supportive comments.  It really makes all that hard work worthwhile.

Check your view new options settings at the top.  There's a bunch of preferences you can set to suit your needs.

Only thing that is a little unusual is the width of the right margin. Really wide. Doesn't really bother me but <shrug>. I like the new look a lot.

It’s definitely a major improvement, I like it a lot. It’s obvious a lot of work went into it, and it’s obvious you care a lot about the user experience, and that is getting rare these days.

 

I especially like the “Quote Collapse” feature to reduce scrolling. If I could request one feature, it would be a feature like the one that allows a user the option to turn off viewing of signatures, but this feature would turn off viewing of member profile information that is shown with every comment.

I’m still trying to figure out what all the different icons mean tho. 
We have check marks, red dots, green dots and the quote symbol.  
 

But I’m getting there!!

As someone who used to build web platforms and apps for a living, I have to say I like the cleaner look. I especially like the change in the layout and the addition of the bottom toolbar on smaller screen mobile devices. Well done.

 

I did notice what appears to be a breadcrumb issue. For example, while in this General Bass Fishing Forum the breadcrumbs are:

 

Bass Fishing Forums > Bass Fishing Forums > General Bass Fishing Forum

 

The first breadcrumb lists all of the forums while the second lists only six of the forums.
