I saw that too, peacefully in his sleep according to his son.

2020 can't pass soon enough. Really enjoyed his 007 movies, but I always got a kick out of those parody SNL Jeopardy skits.

Greatest Scottish voice ever.

Male maybe - but Sean himself was fan of the Scottish Trad/Contemp group Capercaillie and raved about the lead singer's voice.

"Actor Sean Connery is a fan, describing Karen as having “a throat surely touched by the hand of God”."

The singer he loved - singing in Scots Gaelic.

I guess I should say one of the most recognizable Scottish voices.

Grew up watching the vhs tapes my dad had of him as James Bond and reading the novels. And other than his Bond movies, the one movie that always comes to mind when someone mentions is name is The Hunt for Red October.

Great cast, great director, helluva soundtrack... But his performance as Marko Ramius was the icing on the cake.

RIP Sean Connery. Roger Moore was my James Bond but I did love Sean’s version.

He will always be Juan Sanchez-Villalobos Ramirez in Highlander to me. “You have power beyond imagination. Use it well, my friend. Don’t lose your head.”

He was the first James Bond and I think he was the best James Bond. Also liked watching him in The Rock. May he R.I.P.

RIP, father of Junior, aka, Indiana Jones, uber-classy 007,

The Rock, reformed thief, Marco Ramius, Allan Quatermain ........

His legendary acting will be missed.
