32251 Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 80s Malibu 14 ft fiberglass trihull skiff/fisher. Bimini top. 25hp Mercury. Motor Guide 54 trolling motor. Trailer. Humminbird LCR4 ID wired up. Wheeled boat dolly to move it around on paved surface. Other things like anchor, anchor winch, cover, ropes, tanks, etc. Price was $500. I took a chance on it. Boat was in the water and functioning fine 3 years ago. Boat will need pressure washing. Hull and floors are fine. Carbs will need cleaning out. Good compression. Anyone know anything about these Malibu boats? Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 You can't go wrong for that price! The accessories are worth that much!!! CONGRATS Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 23, 2009 Super User Posted May 23, 2009 Good job! As stated above, you did good and I am sure you will have many hours of fun in the boat. Now get with Bob and insure your boat and watercraft liability. Quote

CGH Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Congrats.... That's going to be one fine Bass taxi after pressure washing. At $500 that was a steal and a half. Quote
Calcutta Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I noticed the motor is tilted up in the picture. After you rebuild the carbs always store it with the motor straight up, not tilted. Quote

reo Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I noticed the motor is tilted up in the picture. After you rebuild the carbs always store it with the motor straight up, not tilted. Could you please elaborate as to why? I always store mine down if there is ANY chance of freezing but have never heard to do this 100% of the time. Thanks Quote
