So I have finally put together a box that I had envisioned for my Swimbaits and am not 100% happy with it.  Have went through a lot of different options and I settled on this but am looking for suggestions on how to "fix" my problem.

I am looking for a way to keep the baits in place and not sliding down the string.  Originally I wanted a barrel swivel with snap but the Hudd's are too long and the tail hits the bottom (bent) and I do not want that.

I am looking for ways to keep the baits accessible and in their place.

Thought I would reach out as I am coming up with few ideas.

*** Right now my best thought is to dip the back of a snap in liquid rubber and once hardened thread the wire through the back of the snap and leave the snap open at all times.

I just use a Deep 3700 Plano. Works well.

To secure the rings just wrap the string around each one in a series and then resecure the string to the box. You might need a longer string to do that.

Do you keep hudds in there?  Their tails not being straight is my only concern about that.

I pretty much do the same thing as Dirty. Years ago I tried to get fancier than I probably should have and it was a bit of a hassle, and then I saw one of Matt Allen's videos where he basically piled all of his soft body swimbaits on top of each other and mentioned he never has an issue with bent tails. I subsequently switched to a deep Plano 3741 for all my soft body swimbaits 8" and under and Plano Edge 3700's for my hard swimbaits, and both of those have worked really well. I also picked up a Plano lure wrap (new version below) for my hard and soft swimbaits over 8" and it holds quite a few large baits.

I use something very similar to the Plano wraps and it works great. The only problem is treble hooks can poke through the mesh so hook covers are a must.

Plastic tote, wood dowel,  and wire. Just lift out the dowel that has the lure I want fish. Holds 18-20 baits.

Used threaded rod secured with cap nuts thru the plastic. The threads keep the baits from sliding. I use big snap swivels to hang them.
