Why would anyone want already scratched scratchers? Surely you don't think I'm dumb enough to send virgin scratchers :wink3:

Mine went out today. I pull from what I have that I use and have confidence in. I know what works for me for LM and SM in my area. Hope it works as well for my recipient. Merry Christmas!

So when the package arrives, are we posting what we got immediately or are we saving it for a specific date?

I think I saw that Deak was going to set up another thread to 'report  our loot'.

Put it under the tree. You need to keep your tree up until ice out, then you can take your tree down and open your gift. Don’t break the tradition. ?

Uh - don't have a tree. We have a Yule Log that we decorate from Nov 1 to Dec 20th, then burn it in the fireplace on Winter Solstice.

Maybe I'll drag the tree out onto the ice so I have a new offshore brush pile to fish in the spring. ?

I’m going to make some ‘trees’ next year and set sail under the cover of darkness and plant them in my lake.

Ya - Unfortunately I'd have to go through tons of paperwork here in MN to do the same thing. Dropping X-Mas trees - or anything else - into waters without a permit is illegal here.

It is here too. I live on a private lake so they’re a little more flexible.

I don't think we have any of those here - unless it's a farm-pond.

Yes, here too. It was a joke, I don't even have a tree, lol.

It isn't true, but sometimes it certainly feels like there's more private lakes here than public ones. ?
