You need the pic on the device you are using.  You also normally have to reduce the pixels because this site has specific size limitations.  Then when you post click on the choose files button bottom left and follow the prompts.

A lot of us use Several different photo uploading websites. They usually make it a 3-4 click copy and paste process

Ok, then it's easy.  Just start a post, look towards the bottom of the text box for "choose files".  Click it and follow the prompts.

Just take the pic on your phone then go to edit and enlarge pic.

By enlarging you reduce the pixel.

I am on an iPhone and there is no “choose files” option at the bottom of my text box. This has been an ongoing issue that I have yet to figure out how to resolve.

 

To answer the OP question I upload my pics to a third party website and use the attach links at the top of the text box. I copy and paste the URL link of my pic in box that comes up.
