Super User scaleface Posted October 22, 2020 Super User Posted October 22, 2020 I like the chartreuse Sexy Shad .Caught a 6 lber on it two weeks ago . Quote
Super User DitchPanda Posted October 23, 2020 Author Super User Posted October 23, 2020 I looked through my lipless yesterday and I don't think I have any with chartreuse on them. Not sure why. Quote
BASS302 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I recently bought one in a color called Green Tomato to try out. 4 Quote
Super User Teal Posted October 23, 2020 Super User Posted October 23, 2020 I only have a few of the strike king, but they have an awesome color selection. I had to check my box, but I found I only have 3 colors, phantom perch, green sexy shad, and the last one is a red craw (I think it's the delta craw) that one has bite Mark's on it. I went to TW site to kinda confirm what colors I had, and man I'm blown away at all the colors they have. If you are in a budget, red eye shad is the way to go, but I've had so much success this year on LC LV 200 and 500 as well as a jackall TN 60 and 70. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 23, 2020 Super User Posted October 23, 2020 Not my best color, but I have caught some bass on a red eye shad called bad to the bone. Quote
Big Rick Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 My favorite lakes are loaded with cypress and have water the color of sweet tea, very tannic. Purple and chartreuse is an awesome combo color in this waters. Hence, this color Royal Purple. 1 Quote

That’s called black water in Texas changes white to an off white, a white spinnerbait was the go to lure when fork first opened, bump the stump Quote
Coonedawg Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 My favorite color is Palmetto Blue Back Herring. It's an exclusive color only available at one of my local tackle stores. 4 2 Quote

Palmetto State Armory in Greenville with have them. It's their color. The PSA Fishing Outpost in Columbia is bigger though. I believe you can order the baits on their website though. Quote

Super User ww2farmer Posted October 28, 2020 Super User Posted October 28, 2020 In clear water Japanese shad has been good for me, and when everyone is throwing red craw lipless baits in the spring, I have done really well on Albino Craw. I've been using Lucky Craft LV500's lately, but at the rate I'm feeding them to pike vs the bass I catch on them, I can't sustain that on my budget. The Red Eye Shads will be going back to work for me here real soon. The RES catches them just as good, and hurts a LOT less when things with teeth come a calling. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 28, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 28, 2020 Gold/black, and Olive Shad have been my 2 go to colors lately. Not real crazy colors, but not the standards either. Quote

Just throw some size 4 triple grips on there and roll. 10 hours ago, ww2farmer said: In clear water Japanese shad has been good for me, and when everyone is throwing red craw lipless baits in the spring, I have done really well on Albino Craw. 00bullitt Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Found that Palmetto exclusive on their website. Had no idea Palmetto State Armory was getting into fishing tackle. They produce it in the entire Strike King lineup. https://palmettostatearmory.com/accessories/fishing.html Thanks for that info. Gonna order a few. 2 Quote
lavbasser Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Green pumpkin craw, blue craw, brown craw, oyster, chartreuse perch, dB craw, sugar daddy, bully...chart. Perch is a faded chartreuse with a faded copper back. My favorite lipless color is Red back with gold belly. Jackall calls it Spawn Tiger but I have seen it on other lipless . Quote
Ktho Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Its not that off the wall but Chart Baitfish specifically is by far my best producing RES and i've never seen anyone mention it 1 Quote
