I wonder if you only can choose one lure/bait and combo for bass fishing, Regardless of time of year and location, What would you choose?

For me Senko Trig with my 844C and Anteras MD, Because also I can do wacky and power shot as well and have option to use weightless or use weight, even I can make it calrolina, haha so Senko is my choice.

What will be yours?

I go fishing with one lure and combo a lot . When I'm fishing ditches for "Ditch Pickles and they get quite big " or wading a river for smallmouths I often take a med. baitcaster with 12 lb test and large Beetle Spins .

I bring a mh baitcaster and a jignpig everywhere I go. If I have an assortment of sizes I can fish the entire water column.

Lately if I could only bring one, it'd be my ML spinning setup with a wacky rig. That's been the most consistent bite for me for some time.

Probably a medium action spinning rig and either a small 2.5" crawbug or more likely a tube, both rigged on a slider spider head. The crawbug would get the standard spider head with the 2/0 hook and the tube would get the classic pro with the 3/0 beefier hook.

While the crawbug has caught me a ton of bass, the tube gets the nod because it has also caught me a ton of bass and can be worked in all parts of the water column so versatility wins.

Also the medium action spinning rod could be one of the only combos I carry. I know not part of the question, but this combo has fished spinnerbaits, topwaters, squarebills, plastics, bass jigs, etc for me very successfully. I think some forget that a spinning rod can do many if not most things that a baitcaster can.

The lake I fish is predominately spotted bass, occasional small mouth and largemouth. I  use a Gloomis GLX 802C, extra fast tip, with a Daiwa Tatula Type R, spooled with 6 pond fluorocarbon. The bait would be a homemade stick bait. I can fish it with multiple techniques, from top to bottom of the water column.

Real close....the "what is the best $100 reel" and "what is the best $100 rod" threads are just around the corner.

These threads give me anxiety.  Fishing with one setup would give me anxiety.

I reckon my medium spinning setup with a ³/¹⁶ shakyhead and a Netbait T-Mac.

Now that that's out the way, does anyone know if TWs next sale excludes Megabass?

Medium light spinning rod with 6lb mono...1/4 oz lead head, white power grub.

When all else fails trying to catch bass, I throw the white power grub...it catches bass, crappie, bluegill and the occasional pike.  Easy to cast and retrieve.

If I'm only concentrating on Bass, it's the 6' medium action bait caster with 20lb braid, texas rigged blue-fleck power worm.

Spinnerbait, MH baitcaster.  Can be buzzed on top,  or crawled on the bottom and everything in-between.  Fast or slow.

One of the things I like about bass fishing is that bass will hit a large variety of lures so I prefer bringing a couple different lures when I fish for bass. With that said a medium action combo and a couple spinnerbaits in different sizes can catch lots of bass in the hands of someone who is comfortable fishing spinnerbaits.
