Ed Yusis Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Retired military, now living in Northeast Pa and am planning to come down to Fl (florahome, George's Lake ) for Nov,Dec and Jan- maybe feb. Previously I lived in Pensacola for 12 years and di mostly salt water. Started back on fresh water when I moved to Pa. Looking forward to doing some bass fishing on George's Lake and where ever I can find when I am down there, Seems like this sight is fairly active, which I like. Fair wind , following seas and tight lines ed 1 Quote

Any tips welcome. Have not really fished the lake yet I caught many of my bass in there on a red shad culprit worm. The shoreline fishing around grass beds and docks is good. I also fished the canals on the west side of the lake a lot. Never got into the “offshore “ fishing there because we didnt have a depth finder. There are some deep holes out there that hold some good fish. You can also fish for specks ( crappie ). Use minnows and drift at various depths until you find a school. Roostertails work for them too. I love that lake. My dad ALMOST bought a place there when I was a kid. Quote
