OnthePotomac Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Two stints went in at 0700 Friday morning from Boston Scientific Company, medicated platinum chromium. Doc says the latest model, LOL. Came home yesterday afternoon and kept an extra day in recovery to get my heart rate down to the normal cruising speed. In a month or so a third one will go in and I am done. Can't wait to get back to normal activity and maybe on the water before it gets way too cold. Thanks to all for your well wishes. Now I am going to play with my new Scorpion 19 MGL reel, which arrived yesterday to greet me. My plan right now is to put it on a 7' MH, fast tip Carbonlite, spool it with 15lb Invizx and throw plastics with it (if I can get on the water again). 10 Quote

Super User Fishes in trees Posted October 19, 2020 Super User Posted October 19, 2020 At the very least, prior to getting on the water, you can rig it up & throw at targets in the lawn - get good with the rig. Knowing how to pitch sitting down is a valuable skill to have. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted October 19, 2020 Super User Posted October 19, 2020 Great news and thanks for sharing? Quote

Super User Sam Posted October 20, 2020 Super User Posted October 20, 2020 Wow on! First that is great news about your medical condition. Here is to a rapid and successful recovery. Second, you can stay home and avoid all of the I-95 and Route 1 traffic. Third, you can play with your fishing equipment all day and into the night. Life is Good!!! Quote
OnthePotomac Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 And it is back up and running full blast. So much for covid keeping people home. Quote
