Luke Barnes Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 With the weather is it worth fishing monday? Will be at a lake with all three species and fiahijg Rip rap. To me it seems like a skunk waiting..... Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted October 18, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 18, 2020 Yep. Sure wish I could fish a Monday 3 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 18, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 18, 2020 Cloudy skies=probable low pressure system, I'm all over that. Now if you had them high, sunny skies, that's a tough bite waiting to happen. 4 Quote

newriverfisherman1953 Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Sounds like a for sure skunk if you don’t go. I really don’t get this question. What’s so terrible about a skunk? It’s still fishing. 6 1 Quote
Luke Barnes Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 Today its supposed to rain a ton. I see it didnt show that on the pic. But cold rain today so I thought it may cool the water off and make them locked. I'm still going whether I catch or not, just preparing myself that a skunk may happen. Normally I love clouds but after the first cold rain of the fall I wasn't sure. Quote

Super User DitchPanda Posted October 18, 2020 Super User Posted October 18, 2020 My local waters have cooled considerably from cold over night temps...I'm talking a few nights in the upper 20s. I went yesterday...it was cloudy windy and around 50 when I was out. I caught 3 and missed 1 on a lip less...biggest was almost 4lbs. I'd really like your weather starting now for the next 5 months. Yes its worth it..go man! Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted October 18, 2020 Super User Posted October 18, 2020 I would fish Monday. My forecast today was worse and I managed to catch a 2 pound Smallmouth. 1 Quote

Finessegenics Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 I’d rather get skunked than just sit at home. I get out there anytime I have the chance. 2 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 18, 2020 Super User Posted October 18, 2020 Cloudy and the temp is not going to change much. If I were off from work I would be fishing for sure. Quote
BigAngus752 Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 I happy when I'm fishing. I'm happier when I'm catching, but I still love just fishing. Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted October 19, 2020 Super User Posted October 19, 2020 It is better to go fishing than staying at home. Quote
DanielG Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Well, ya know, my wife is pretty sexy. Sometimes it's better to stay home. But fishing is good too. Sexy wife or fishing. Sort of a tossup. ? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 19, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 19, 2020 I'd planned on fishing this morning in the cold and wind in a kayak tournament, but work had other plans ? Quote
