Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted October 22, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 22, 2020 Some lakes, especially up north, might be turning over? Quote
galyonj Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 I caught one tiny little bass yesterday. I'll take what I can get right now. Quote
Sissyfishing Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Three inch ribbon tail on 1/16 oz lead head in black or a one and two inch single tail curly grub on lead head in white works when all else fails Quote

Have a post in a thread above but yesterday was a real struggle. Actually still shaking my head some. We are in fall in the North East but heck it has not been drastic temperature drops. I had all kinds of big expectations about yesterday and got a humbling experience. I had that coming. A reality check type thing I guess. It will be a struggle from here on out for me. I can feel it. I have to come up and approach it differently. I did not get skunked but that was because I fished close to the bank at one point and figured there is always a dink or two hanging there. That can not be assumed at all time either. Never give up I guess. 1 Quote
Super User Bird Posted October 23, 2020 Super User Posted October 23, 2020 82* yesterday in VA and no wind so off I went. Lake was as clear as I've ever seen and many bass boats. Nothing on drop shot Roboworm which was surprising so went to 1/16 Ned in California craw and caught 7 small bass but had a blast with med light.......made them feel bigger.....but they weren't.
