If the temperature does indeed stay below zero for 4 days, it will be the longest stretch of below zero temps in 27 years here in the Twin Cities.

I’m still thinking positive that we will have an early or average ice out because November - January were well above average temps.

Nope - went above zero today - so the streak has been broken.

Do you have any vacation time left?

I meant starting tomorrow. Sorry I should have made myself more clear on that.

Sure do. I’m saving it for fishing and hunting season!

Do you know an electrician?  I have a hot tub on my patio that has been there since Dec 15th and I can't get someone to hook it up.

Uh - no. I do all my electrical work myself...but I'm not bonded so I couldn't do yours.

Lol.  I wasn't asking you to.  I "could" do it myself, but there is a bunch of stuff in my box to move so I want someone else to...or I should say my wife wants someone else to.

I hear ya ~

Colder here than 'advertised', minus stuff past several night with highs barely making the teens.  My brief transit across the grocery store parking lot the other morning with some stiff wind was the coldest I've been in a while.

Seems I might not be as hearty as in days gone by . . . . . .

Way too cold for this transplanted Rebel. I prefer lows in the 50's.

The entire metro is in a state of panic. It's 16* right now and spitting snow.

Heavy snow is predicted tonight and into tomorrow. Lows will be single digits.

The weathermen are just giddy, "Everyone's going to die!"

Currently the streets are dry and the stores are open.

Happy Valentines Day!

They’re talking 30’s in a week again. If this is the only cold slap we have all winter, it wouldn’t bother me. Let’s start a slow gradual progression towards spring!

The warm up is on the way! Every single day starting tomorrow is gradually warmer and a week from today it may hit 40 degrees. C’mon spring
