Well we got a little freezing drizzle yesterday and before we went to bed the weatherman said we were supposed to get 1” of snow. Woke up this morning to 5-6” of fresh snow. Great job weatherman! ??

You’re the silly one if you keep believing them year after year!

Ice storm here yesterday . Wide spread power outage . I regained power this morning but only half my poles are hot  . Luckily I have a furnace and refrigerator working but no way to cook anything . The crews left for other parts of town . I had to chip the ice out of the bird feeder so the birds are happy .

This is why even though I haven't been camping in over a decade I still have some of my camping gear. One and two-burner propane fired stoves, propane fired grill, camp-oven for the stove-tops. You name it, I can probably make it with those.

No real complaints worth voicing about Winter 2020-2021 at present. Stay safe everyone....

Had many a meal on the camp stove when the power is out. And I’ve got a grill. My power goes out a lot in TN (trees falling)

Yup ~

Every night she stares out into the back woods and growls into the pitch black total darkness.

We see or hear nothing of course but in the morning, the 'tracks in the snow' tell the story.

Not sure if she sees the deer or hears them.

Either way, I  expect to sleep good for many years to come.

We’re lucky if we’ve had 12” so far this year.

We normally have 30-40” so far. We have 2” and none on the ground

We average over 150 inches annually and often get the Lions share of that before the big lakes freeze.

We aren't even remotely close to that now.

You have expectations of me? I'm flattered.

Both of you need to put down the pipe/bottle. What you see as lazy, I see as an opportunity.

We've been lucky so far.  The majority of the ice and snow has either gone north or south of us.  We did get a little bit of freezing rain on Friday night, but it was mostly gone by Saturday afternoon.

I’m in the Boston area. Like Jigfishin10, we got almost a foot of snow.

I got out January 2nd.

Plymouth & Cape Cod are still open...

It’s a 50/50 shot. It will either rain or it won’t . They just flip a coin
