Are there any smaller ned rig heads? I got the zman in 1/10. The weight is fine but the hooks are big. Anything with smaller hooks?

Curious which jigheads you have.  The z man finesse shroomz or nedlocks have tiny hooks.

I would not want to go much smaller for bass. they are small enough that crappie easily get them in their mouth.

Also I do not use 1/10 ounce much. 99% of the time I am using 1/15 ounce

I much prefer smaller hooks as well, #2 to  #4 is what I prefer.  A lot of the smaller makers offer them that small, River Rock sell them but they are pricy.  Ebay is also a good place to look.

im not sure what size hook it is. whichever one is standard i guess. I bought the ned heads at walmart.

I recently got some hellgramite plastics, that are maybe 2.5" long. So i guess I might be looking for a Micro Ned rig, if such thing exists.

The standard z man Shroomz finesse jig is what Wal-Mart usually carries. It has a size 2 hook.  You will probably havecto find another brand to go smaller

Ah those are perfect. Thanks. Yeah I'm thinking size 4 hook would be good. They are cheaper too!

I bought the DoIt Midwest finesse mold and it specifies #1 hooks but I cast some of the lighter ones with #4 and I think they don’t snag up quite so bad. If I’m fishing with braid I have a pretty good chance of bending the hook and pulling them free.

Check out mule jig 1/16oz #4 hook

My IG pal sent me 1/32oz #6 hook and perfect for bluegill and crappie.

but with all these I still prefer Zman shroom head size 1/16 and 1/20 for Zman products. I use 1/10 exclusively for baby brush hog and hula grub. Think outside the box.

Oh another thing for you @Jonas Staggs you have to consider the gap of hook bend with your plastic of choice to. If you don’t have enough gap, you will have a hard time getting fish hook, remembered long ago when you tried to use #8 hook with bigger plastic.

haha yes, thats why my little fishy gets bit and I always loose them. Weedless option in these smaller ned rigs would be really cool too.

Ignore the reel, but the fireball jig heads with the short shank hook really allow baits to wiggle a bit more, especially 1/2 of a Zinkerz that has either been soaked and stretched to remove the salt or fished a lot. I know the hook gap bothers Ned purists. Would love to see someone pour mushroom heads with this hook.
