I found on my Antares 70, that it takes a little more pull to get the drag working because of the click drag system. I ended up taking the spring and ball out, now my drag is a lot smoother and the pull to take drag is even.

For anyone that is interested. ?

Did the same thing on my Daiwa Morethans and Steez A's. Took the clicker out. Was annoying.

Ain't nothing like a 20# salmon pulling hard and the sound of the screaming drag or a steelhead doing cart wheels on the surface and racing all over the river..........

Those bass are just like reeling in a wash cloth covered with 5# of weeds?

I just came back from fish boot camp.  Caught kings all day yesterday and still beat up from it.  My arms and back are nice and sore lol.
