New Frog reel once I decide on which one and all the materials needed to finally finish my jon boat conversion.  Anyone tried the KastKing Speed Demon Elite?

I have a nicely set up Bonafide with a Bixby motor, well laid out for fishing and love it.

Now I'm fighting the urge to replace it with the Old Town Autopilot 120..............

Congrats!  Funny part is I will be a grampa in March.  Everyone is hating on 2020, and so far it's pretty good to me.

I meant for me.☺️

I have a fairly small tackle re-supply list and I hope to replace the 7'1" Daiwa Tatula H/F "Jig" rod that I leant to my youngest son this summer and he dropped off his kayak.

I am contemplating buying one really high end setup probably to fish jigs and T-rigs, since that makes the most sense as a vertical presentation and I always have one or the other rigged up. Not that I feel I really need it, but this forum has made me curious.

Not a rod/reel, but I'm planning on getting a Minn Kota Terrova (with I-pilot/spot lock) for my boat. Also a Humminbird Helix 8 or 9 for the bow... I'm psyched!

I plan on getting a high-end dropshot combo.  I already have an assortment of Dobyns Champion Extreme rods but I have recently gotten an itch to get either a NRX or a Daiwa Steez rod which is another step up.  I'll probably put another Daiwa Tatula on it.  When I get on a good dropshot bite I like to have two combos ready.

Looking to finally replace my old 853 MossyBack with an IMX-PRO, stock up on terminal tackle, make the switch from lead to tungsten for 90% of applications, a few spools of fluorocarbon and braid, and get a few new packs of soft plastics. And a Plano E-Series backpack to carry everything I need to enter my first tournament!

BFS set-up.

Likely a Calcutta Conquest BFS, just don't know which rod yet.  Looking forward to researching the JDM rod options!

Two steps ahead of me, and congratulations. For me it’s between the 6.2 or the 3.0 and do I want the payments. Not to mention the fact my 20 year old mule is still running strong and just has to get me to the water....

I think I need to correct myself regarding my previous post on this thread ?

*BTW, I went with the 6.2...

Pulled the trigger on an Steez AGS 76 MML from the Tackle Trap.  10% off and no shipping.  I sold a Dobyns HP and some other things recently so this wasn't that big of a hit to the wallet.

It will instantly become my best spinning rod.  From all the excellent reviews, it seems as if I can use the rod from anything to Ned rigs to 1/2 oz tubes and anything in between.  I plan on using it as my #1 dropshot rod (3/8 oz sinker is my standard weight) and my 1/4 to 3/16 oz tube rod.  I'll pick up a Tatula 3000 or a Ballistic over the winter.

Looking to get two fish finders -- transom and trolling motor/bow mount.

My plan is to upgrade both of my graphs and to jump on the shallow water anchor bandwagon.   I was gonna sell my boat  and try for a new(er) one but it makes more since to just upgrade key components.

I want to start tournament fishing again come February so, starting next few weeks I'm gonna be making trips out once a week on lakes and rivers on the tourney trail ( the ones I dont gisg much) to ride, fish and map all I can before season starts in Feb, because I wont have the time to do it then.

I've considered a fall/winter trail that starts next month.

Looking for an edge, I feel like upgraded electronics would help some, that and I'm really jealous of the new tech.  I'm hoping to see what comes on sale in the next month.  I do think I want to stick with a Lowrance product, but my eyes are open to whatever.

Just ordered new hard ware for my compartments, some of them are shot, also ordered some battery powered led lights for the compartments.

The last on my list in a new trolling motor.  I would like to have one of these new tangled motors that i can control everything with a remote and use spot lock.  But that will prov be after first of the year.

I would definitely rather have a trolling motor with spot-lock than a shallow water anchor.  Actually, I'd rather have that trolling motor than new electronics too.  About the only time I use the Talon is at the dock, taking a break and retying, or if it is very windy and I don't want to use the spot-lock (this is rare).   Scouting the waters in the winter before the upcoming season is a smart move.  ?

Rod building supplies, ordered.

A mile of electrical wire and bag of switches and accessories to rewire bass boat, pending.

I'm in a total rebuild state... right from the ground up... so a couple of spinning outfits and possibly a lefty casting. Tackle box and tackle... even line!! Going to be an expensive winter to get ready for spring LOL!!

Started the other night with a local purchase of some spoons and a couple cranks ?

Maybe some good deals will show up on black friday up here... sometimes Canadian sales follows their US counterparts.

I've spent most my fishing funds throughout the year so no major purchases outside of maybe a new reel, oh and also an engagement ring ?
