Anybody Got Purchase Plans Over Winter?

I'm looking at a Dobyns Sierra spinning rod along with a Pflueger Supreme XT reel. Also want to grab a big spool of 10# tatsu line. That ought to fix me up.........how about others?

Don’t tempt me! Your going to love that Sierra.....I’ve got a 703 paired up with a Revo STX.

 

Think I might just be purchasing some winter and spring lures. 
 

oh and a Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Z71 to tow the boat I plan on getting some day!

The Supreme XT is a good reel. Very light and the drag is insanely smooth. You’ll be happy with it, especially if you can get a deal on it. 
 

Im looking for a new M spinning rod. I currently use a Fenwick Elite Tech Walleye 7’2. I’m not the biggest fan to be honest. The rod is well built but I don’t find it to be that sensitive. The cork is good quality, so are the reel seats and the guides but there’s just something missing in the rod for me. 
 

I plan on replacing it with a Mojo Bass 6’8 M/XF or maybe even the 7’1 M/F. I was really impressed with my ML Mojo so I want to get another one. Only problem is none of the tackle stores in my area have them in stock. They’ve been cleaned out since Covid and it didn’t help that the longshoremen here went on strike for a month. It apparently backed a lot of orders up for big box stores. I need to head over there and look one of these days, their order may have come in and I don’t even know it.

I picked up a couple of Revo X reels recently for like $90 and I'm really liking them..

Not in the winter mode yet but I’m thinking about searching out a nice spotlight that I can mount rigid but can remove easy. I have a nice handheld that I’ve used for years when I need it or want to light something up. Want to free up my hand. 
 

Please let’s not go there about what is legal and not legal blah blah blah. I don’t care. I’m not using it illegally. Thanks.

Nope, getting my major overhaul done this summer/autumn, and I am nearly done, got Jerkbaits, Crankbaits, underpins and swimbaits left to get set up for, the last one I am still up in the air about since I don't consider them practical for a guy who doesn't live near a fishery that is likely to have bass big enough to eat them...this winter begins the savings to do more fishing next year...and camping

This is not a big purchase or anything but over this winter there are some guys on here that I’d like to reach out to and fish with them this upcoming season. Take the Time to make some good arrangements, solid plans and drag my puddle jumper up north and down south to see and fish with some folks.

Just remember, if you're not hooked on the T-Wing - the Fuego CT is just a Tat CT without the T-Wing...for $20 less retail.

I'm looking for new spinning combo. I have a 6'6" MF Shimano Compre/Pflueger President right now but want something a little lighter. Maybe a Tatula Elite/Tatula LT or Shimano Expride/Stradic or Vanford.
