Anybody buy any spools of Sniper recently and how is it working for you? I read a bunch of negative reviews about Sniper FC on Tackle Warehouse that seem to be limited to the past year saying that the line isn't the same as it used to be. I'm looking to upgrade my fluoro from Red Label to either Invizx or Sniper so just trying to get some outside opinions before I make the switch.

Sniper has been my go to line for the last 4 years.. I Use 14 pound most of the time. 18 pound for heavy cover.

I have never noticed any problems.

I have recently been trying out suffix advance Fluorocarbon.

It is a little thicker than sniper, but otherwise has worked well. Also cheaper.

I have used both 12lb Sniper and 12lb Invizx.  Sniper is good line but last few times I have used it I was getting random break offs.  Invizx on the other hand has been fantastic.

I haven't bought a spool of Sniper in the past few years.  I don't see a need to go away from Invizx.

I've had no issues with mine. I use Sniper (16#) on my Texas rig and jig rods. Haven't had any break-offs despite some hard hook-sets. And I rarely ever have to retie unless I feel some abrasion. Knots have been solid.

Thanks guys I think I'm going to take a look at invizx and maybe try a spool of sniper.

They're definitely a bit different imo so you'll probably have a preference. Invix is definitely more supple and FC Sniper a bit stiffer. I only use them for light line 5lb and 6lb. I've been preferring the little extra stiffness to FC but they're both great imo and caught a lot of fishing using both.

Bought Sniper several years ago in 8-12 lbs and only use it as 6ft leaders and it's been excellent.

Probably won't need any Flouro for quite awhile.

Lack of memory has been it's strength. Imo

This has been mentioned dozens of times on the site before but when it comes to fluoro, most reviews are negative. You see that often... well because it’s fluoro. It has high memory compared to mono and braid so naturally people will be disappointed. I don’t have experience with sniper but just wanted to throw that in.

It's been my primary line the past couple years with 5-10 being nearly all of it, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. When Tatsu is on a deep discount I still pick it up, but the quality of Sniper for its price is tough to beat.
