Getting pretty hard to focus and read and the harder I look at it the my cancer ridden brain isn't very positive and I'm not sure I'm thinking the right way I would want to anyway.  Lot of good people on here with many ideas both young and old ....watching on the sidelines I see old values's go more to the wayside justifies by political correctest or other !@#$.........

Thank you for the views...friendship and some good "BS" and such....Got nothing proverbial to say...except maybe hope your all looking up.  Hope to see ya on the other side.

Thank you "BR" for a clean scope

Sorry to hear of your bad news.  My Dad just found out last week that he only has 6 months to a year to live.  He has stage 4 esophageal cancer and it has spread throughout his body.  Cancer is a mother ******!

I have no words.  I hope things turnaround and you beat this.  But if not, you're going to be greatly missed.

Take care, spend all the time you can with the ones closest to you, and just remember, your daughter will be there waiting for you when the time comes.

We’ll all miss your stories and insight.

Thanks for all your stories. The way you’ve kept your chin up these last several months is an inspiration to us all. Do whatever you can, to be as happy as you can, for the time you have left.

Oregon Native, Thanks for all of your posts and advice. I wish that we could have met while I was living in Knoxville. You find all the good fishing holes and we'll all join you one day.

Thanks again, much respect

I've enjoyed reading your post, especially your weeknight tournament recaps with your son. I hope to be able to be able to do the same with mine some day. I hope a miracle happens for you, if not, know you've made a positive impact in this life and were loved and will be missed by many. Take care O.N.

Oregon Native, you have handled the cards you have been dealt with an outlook that many never achieve.  You knew going into this what the outcome would most likely end up and you decided to take your life back and live it to the fullest.  From spending time with your family and friends, to encouraging others on this fishing forum.. you have made the most of it!  You took advantage of the opportunities placed before you to make sure you gave lasting memories to those you cared about.  I want to thank you for sharing your journey with us on this forum.  I checked in several times a week just to see if you posted updates or funny stories.  Having lived this same journey with a close friend and employee who was diagnosed at almost the same time as you, it was refreshing to see another side.  Don't ever give up and God bless!
