When I try to press the Curado 200e7, it won’t go down at all. If I pushed down any harder it’s probably gonna break it. Any reasons why?

Are you referring to pressing down the thumb release bar?  Have you had it apart, or did this just happen?

Something is clearly wrong. You’re right in not forcing it. To see what’s binding it up will require disassembly. If you’ve never had a reel apart and not sure what to look for feel free to send it in. If you’re comfortable opening it up you can send or post pics that l/we can check for you.

I ended up cleaning the reel and got rid off the junk in the reel from the person I bought it from. It's very smooth to crank the reel now but thumb bar is still kinda hard to push but it's lot easier now. I wish I could get it to be more easier to press like my Caenan 100.
