I’m looking for a new jig rod, I have the nrx 873 for my Texas Rigs and my soft plastics but I’m looking for a nrx for mainly 3/8pz jigs and rarely 1/2oz. I was debating between the 894 or the 893. what do you guys recommend?

IMO the 893 is almost overloaded with a 3/8 & trailer. You'd have to go 894. Consider the Megabass X bites & the Daiwa Steez bottom contact rod too.

Sounds good I’ll definitely check in on that
