Was looking to upgrade my Daiwa Tatula baitcaster with a some new knobs and new handle. 1 knob isnt spinning as well as the other and its really annoying.

Where is the best place to get custom Daiwa (or any brand) parts in the US?

The two above are good companies to work with for aftermarket.  If you need factory parts, you can call Daiwa USA at (562)375-6800

Is mainly the handle, not factory either.

Its the Tatula SV TW 103HS. I just discovered that typical assemblies have 4 metal bearings, 2 per handle. On THIS model, it comes with 1 metal bearing and 1 plastic bearing per handle. So itd be ideal to have 4 bearings, all metal. I may just upgrade the bearings.

Used this thing maybe 10 times and outta nowhere 1 knob just isnt as smooth anymore. Trying to clean it up, but still not as smooth as the other.

Hawgtech has 4 bearing handles, for sure.  TT probably has something as well. I actually prefer the plastic bush, or one of each.  I don't like the knobs free spinning, and the plastic bush is a fraction lighter. If you find it bothers you too, you can pack the bearings with grease, and still reap the benefits of precision and durability.

its just annoying that 1 is not free spinning as well as the other. i can almost tell after a cast which knob is which, just based on touch.  going to lube it up pretty well today and we shall see.

i almost hate how sensitive my hands have gotten to reel performance, ha

also, you grease your bearings? Not Hoppes 9 or Ardent bearing lube?

I don't use anything made by Ardent.  For knob bearings and the crank shaft bearing in the frame, I use a Bearing Blaster to pack with Cal's Light purple grease.  The slow wobble while fishing a contact bait is distracting to me.

Lews handles are a direct fit for daiwa reels . The have Several knob colors and even carbon fiber  handles if you want to get fancy. Lews are 95mm long as well.   I switched out several of the the stock daiwa handles in place of lews

Most stock have 1 bearing and 1 bushing. It's not common place, with daiwa, to have 4bb handles but some models do. I generally replace the bushing /w bearings but i tinker. The bearing size is 4x7x2.5. Make sure you replace them /w SS. the cheap RC car ebay bearings will work but any moisture and corrosion will lead to frequent replacements. A sticky knob doesn't always mean a bad bearing. You can pop the knob caps off the handle and loosen the handle screw ever so slightly. If the knob starts to spin, they may have added an extra shim on accident under the handle bushing/bearing that you can remove and will fix your issue. I also never oil handle bearings like a spool bearing. I dip them in a 90wt gear oil after flushing. very smooth.
