Double__Digits Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Is there an edit function? If so, I can't figure it out. Any assistance is much appreciated. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted September 20, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 20, 2020 There should be an edit button at the bottom of your post. There used to be anyways. Yup, it’s there. 1 Quote
Double__Digits Posted September 20, 2020 Author Posted September 20, 2020 Interesting. All I have under my comment is + Quote Quote
Russ E Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Just a thought, but do you happen to have more than one login. If the comment was not made by the user you are logged in as. The edit button will not appear. 1 Quote
Double__Digits Posted September 20, 2020 Author Posted September 20, 2020 Strange. Now Edit is showing up next to Quote. Must be a conspiracy LOL Quote
Russ E Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Could have been a bug and a moderator fixed it. 1 Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 20, 2020 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 20, 2020 You have a short period of time to edit a comment, after which is becomes permanent. So if you try to edit it several hours later, you can't. That's why sometimes you see it, and other times you don't. 2 Quote

Glaucus Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Always proof read before hitting post, and then proof read again immediately after posting. 2 Quote
Super User jimmyjoe Posted September 20, 2020 Super User Posted September 20, 2020 Or you can follow my method; proofread before posting, proofread after posting, then delete post. ? jj 2 Quote
clickityclack Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I'm having this same issue. There is no edit option for me. I only see a "+" and "Quote" at the bottom of my posts. Quote

'Report' and 'share' show as the only two options if it is not a post you made. If it is a post you made, then you get the third option, also (edit). Quote

Michigander Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Can also vary depending if you are viewing the desktop version of the site or one of the mobile versions. My phone is not playing nice with this place lately and has been causing all kinds of user interface strangeness. Quote
