I’m looking into a good all around glide bait rod and I was looking at these rods and wondered if this was a good rod. The rods loads deep into the  blank and has good backbone. It is rated for 2-8 oz lures so that’s where I get the all around aspect from. I’d prefer to here from someone who has had either of these rods but I’ll take any advice. I bet I could also get away with throwing smaller single hook bait on it too.

I have the Orochi Leviathan and I haven't used a lot so I'm still not sure what the sweet spot is. I'm guessing around 4 oz. I love the looks of it but can't say I've been wowed by feel yet. Once I get a chance to throw a variety of baits I could tell you my thoughts. Just can't say I'd drop 325 to get another one yet. Plenty of swimbait rod options out there. Don't rule out Dobyns Champion or Irod. If you arent throwing huge glides I'd buy a Dobyns Fury 795. I have 2 of them and love them. If you want the Champion 795 go for it..2 handle lengths available. Good luck!
