Currently have a Bottom Line Fishin Buddy...works good for a 20 year old unit, gives me depth, water temp and somewhat view of the bottom.

Thinking about something new for this boat.

Ideally I would like to set up both transom and trolling motor mount transducers, and move the head unit as needed.

Garmin EchoMAP Plus? Suggestions?

Any fish finder will work.  What is your budget?  Get that number, and start playing with some nits in the store, to see what brand suits your style. You'll want to weigh extra features such as SI/DI with screen size.  I use standard sonar, DI, and GPS more than any other feature, so they are my must haves.  All my units have SI as well, although I use that a little less.  If it's down to a 5" screen with SI, or a 7" screen without, I'll go 7" most days.  Try to have that conversation with yourself before buying.  Be sure to consider the mapping - some units require a map chip, some have base maps, and some don't.

Budget probably in the $750 range.  (heck, I only paid $650 for the boat/motor/trailer back in 2000)

I'd be looking at a fully loaded 7-9" unit for that price.  Pick your brand, they all do about the same thing at that price.  I like Humminbird and Garmin.

Sweet tinny, btw.

Thats A pretty Good Deal! Got A Garmin 5" CV and use the features a lot....only wish I had gotten the 7" screen instead. Its all I need for a 14' tin boat, just a bigger screen.  Dave
