Have several go to baits but overall favorite would be Jerkbait in pearl.

Caught this yesterday morning on suspending Jerkbait in gin clear water. 20200915_083815.thumb.jpg.81a2cacc7851a832ea21271250bb3e08.jpg

Favorite bait is a 3/8 jig and craw.  Favorite worm would be a 4" finesse worm on a split shot rig.

All bass lures work so my favorite baits depends on the water I'm fishing . Its different on each body of water . Texas rigged plastic worm have caught more bass than any other lure in my life . Spinnerbait has caught more this year . Buzzbaits are the funnest to fish .

There are two different takes to this question.  What is my favorite, and what is my most productive.

My favorite is a HB Frog thrown into heavy cover early and late in the day.

My most productive by far, is a 4" senko type bait.  I have caught bass, peacock, and small mouth on it, all over the east coast from Florida to Maine.  Watermelon Red is my fav color, with Junebug in low light conditions.  You can fish it slow, fast, shallow, deep, in open water, and in thick weeds.  It catches bass of all size and weight.  If I could only take one bait this would be it!

Spinnerbait or Swim-Jig with a semi-bulky trailer (Berkley Pit Boss is my current fav there).

Lure I gotta go spinnerbait, it can come through virtually anything. Worm I gotta go with a green pumpkin or watermelon senko, or during the warmer months a 10" ribbon tail power worm.

I am one extreme to the other. I always have a 6" Bull Shad tied on and a drop shot with the Maxscent Flat Worm (this bait just gets eaten).

Love throwing a buzz-bait early and late. Blue-fleck power worm is the go-to.

When all else fails, I tie on a lead-head and white twister tail and catch bass, crappie, bluegill and even pike : )

A 5 inch senko in chartreuse with black flake has been a very productive presentation for me skipping under docks this season.

All time top producer - 1/2 oz Chartruse R2Sea bling spinner bait.

Worm - all time 3/16th oz T-rigged 7" pumpkinseed power worm. Current nod has been a 5" KVD fat baby finesse in Blue fleck, Tequila sunrise or Dirt on a 3/16 oz Owner finesse ballhead jig.
