Super User Bird Posted September 15, 2020 Super User Posted September 15, 2020 Have several go to baits but overall favorite would be Jerkbait in pearl. Caught this yesterday morning on suspending Jerkbait in gin clear water. 4 Quote
Hook2Jaw Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 ½ ounce jig, 3.75" YUM Craw Chunk. My favorite worms are the Netbait T-Mac and the YUM Ribbontail. 2 Quote

crypt Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 right now my favorite worm is a Culprit FatMax......next week it might be something different.....who knows.. 1 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted September 15, 2020 Super User Posted September 15, 2020 All bass lures work so my favorite baits depends on the water I'm fishing . Its different on each body of water . Texas rigged plastic worm have caught more bass than any other lure in my life . Spinnerbait has caught more this year . Buzzbaits are the funnest to fish . 1 Quote
Super User geo g Posted September 15, 2020 Super User Posted September 15, 2020 There are two different takes to this question. What is my favorite, and what is my most productive. My favorite is a HB Frog thrown into heavy cover early and late in the day. My most productive by far, is a 4" senko type bait. I have caught bass, peacock, and small mouth on it, all over the east coast from Florida to Maine. Watermelon Red is my fav color, with Junebug in low light conditions. You can fish it slow, fast, shallow, deep, in open water, and in thick weeds. It catches bass of all size and weight. If I could only take one bait this would be it! 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted September 15, 2020 Super User Posted September 15, 2020 Spinnerbait or Swim-Jig with a semi-bulky trailer (Berkley Pit Boss is my current fav there). Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted September 15, 2020 Super User Posted September 15, 2020 Lure I gotta go spinnerbait, it can come through virtually anything. Worm I gotta go with a green pumpkin or watermelon senko, or during the warmer months a 10" ribbon tail power worm. 1 Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted September 16, 2020 Super User Posted September 16, 2020 Bandit 200 series crankbait. War Eagle Spinnerbait. Zoom Baby Brush Hog. 1 Quote
Big Swimbait Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 I am one extreme to the other. I always have a 6" Bull Shad tied on and a drop shot with the Maxscent Flat Worm (this bait just gets eaten). 1 Quote
Yakalong Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Favorite has to be anything top water they are hitting most productive is senko 1 Quote
Super User Columbia Craw Posted September 16, 2020 Super User Posted September 16, 2020 Normans Deep Little N. I've been throwing this bait for over 30 years and when the bite is on it's magic. 1 Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Love throwing a buzz-bait early and late. Blue-fleck power worm is the go-to. When all else fails, I tie on a lead-head and white twister tail and catch bass, crappie, bluegill and even pike : ) 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 16, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 16, 2020 My favorite bait to fish is a jig, 1/2oz if I get to pick one. 1 Quote
cal9323 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Favorite bait: frog Most productive: paddletail swimbait or NED rig Favorite worm: Zoom Trick Worm or Zoom Speed Worm 1 Quote

Super User Mobasser Posted September 16, 2020 Super User Posted September 16, 2020 Texas rig plastic worm, various brands, 1/8 to 1/4 bullet weight, Gama hooks. 1 Quote
Fishingmickey Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 All time top producer - 1/2 oz Chartruse R2Sea bling spinner bait. Worm - all time 3/16th oz T-rigged 7" pumpkinseed power worm. Current nod has been a 5" KVD fat baby finesse in Blue fleck, Tequila sunrise or Dirt on a 3/16 oz Owner finesse ballhead jig. Quote
