waymont Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I have two Older green and black Cabela's tackle bags. They have lasted for years, looking a little droopy but still solid. It's my favorite tackle bag. I noticed Bass Pro put their name on it, and changed the design. Does anyone use these new BPS bags? Are they as solid as the older ones? Thx Quote
Tizi Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 I have the large version and it is exactly the same, just says BassPro on it. I also have the backpack, again the same. Good quality, highly recommended. I have the medium too, it says Cabela's on it. 1 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted September 8, 2020 Super User Posted September 8, 2020 That's good to here. I have the 3600 size, 3500 size, Magnum, and straight insane that I gave up on and bought the magnum because you needed a forklift to lift it into a trailered boat;) Best tackle bags I have ever owned. 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted September 8, 2020 Super User Posted September 8, 2020 I have the Large - like that it can hold 7-3600 boxes (6 in the main, 1 in the front). This is my plastics bag filled with 360710 boxes - each sorted by plastic type and labeled. Quote
5/0 Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Does the magnum bag also have a pocket on the front for an additional 3700 box? Wouldn’t be using it for the box, but to carry 6-8 clam shell packs of keitech fat impacts. Quote

If they haven't changed it since it was a Cabela's bag - the four external pockets on the Magnum hold 3600 size boxes 1 1 Quote
r83srock Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I have the Cabelas Advanced Angler “large” bag. I like it a lot, not too big, not too small, made very well. It’s all I use for tackle. I got mine two years ago and I believe they changed it to “advanced angler II” about a year ago. Some bags will have the cabelas logo, others have the BPS logo. Same bag. The new version has some extra goodies apart from the old version. I’ve looked at them in the store and the quality appears the same as past. 1 Quote
