Super User eyedabassman Posted April 26, 2009 Super User Posted April 26, 2009 This BTS ( Bow To Stern ) is the best that I have every used on my bass boat HANDS DOWN! I took my boat out of storage today and I wanted to try the BTS rather than boat wax! And I was VERY happy after I had put it on! The shine was second to none and so easy to put on and buff out! Just thought I would give this stuff a A +. Thanks for a great product! Has anyone tryed the BTS? And they are a sponsoe on this site too COOl. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted April 26, 2009 Super User Posted April 26, 2009 Just wait till your second and third application. It only gets better as the old wax works it's way out and the BTS takes over. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Don't forget to do your car, shower stall, mountain bike, ..... Quote
clipper Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I put it on my Stratos before going on the roadtrip. When I got home I rinsed the boat down and went over it with a damp cloth. It came clean and looked good as new. My son took it to the lake yesterday and when he came back I told him to get the hose and wash off the scum line. I looked closer and there wasn't one. He put in just after a large tourny took out so I know the water had to be coated with oil. I will do my second coat in a couple of weeks and see how the boat looks then. I have had problems each year with fading and am hopeful the BTS will prevent or at least slow it down. As far as putting it in the shower goes, it makes my boat so slick I'm not sure I would do the bottom. Has anybody else used it on ceramic tile in showers? I would like to know because we have to spray ours after each use with this strong stuff to prevent the growth of mold, and you can't help but breathe it during the process. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Clipper- Don't put it on the floor, just the walls and door. Quote

I'm assuming you are experiencing the mold on the grout. Clean the grout with Clorox or grout cleaner, then apply a grout sealer. Grout is tough, because it's so porous. Check with those in the tile department at your local Home Depot, Lowes or floor and tile store. Quote
reo Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I tried last year and just bought more. It is a great product. Quote
Chuck H. Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Guys, keep in mind that I think Rob's sale to Bass Resource members is good through the end of the month. It's a great way to get a special deal on BTS with some Line & Lure thrown in. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted April 27, 2009 Super User Posted April 27, 2009 No, but I have tried it. Quote
simplejoe Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I use it and like it. I like pulling the boat out of the water and just wiping it down with a towel, there's no need anymore to rinse the boat off at the end of every trip. joe Quote
Rob Faddis Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Guys, Try BTS anywhere you have mold and mildew staining problems. In most cases it will lessen the problem dramatically and the resulting need for clean up patrol. Just keep it off where you walk/stand. A good trick is to put about an inch of water in the area by blocking the drain. This will keep over spray from getting on the floor of the tub or shower. Also clean the area to be treated well first. BTS will keep soap scum and hard water problems to a minimum also even on glass. Really beats having to use all of those harsh chemicals after the fact. Oh yea, BTS works pretty good on boats too! Rob Quote
