Tank & Kya do 'play' together BUT,

there's never any toys or balls left out.

Tank's a bit on the possessive side and Kya 's quite a bit faster than him.

So if she snags his favorite ball and takes off, it takes a while for him to catch her

(usually has to cut her off pretty hard),

in the meantime his frustration builds.

Not a good thing, as he'll be a little rough and roll her over pretty good.

Bottom line, Tank does not like to lose, at anything.

We foster that to a point, like when I tell him we're done or 'leave it',

he knows it's over.

But when someone/something we don't know or want is on or near the property,

Tank's on high alert and ready to be Tank.

We sleep good at night.

I REALLY like this one.

Wishing this little sweetheart a VERY Happy 4th WoofDay!

Little KyaKyaKya, aka "little worm", "little bird" & "hide your crazy"

has been an exceptional addition to our family since day one.

We are so grateful to White Paws German Shepherd Rescue for saving this little Texas stray's life.
Sweet Kya, thank you for being such a love-bug, ball of energy, soooo fun & never-ending source of laughs.

This winter started off with record snowfall here.

My wife shot this video of Kya & Tank making the most of it.

My 7 year old has been begging for a white German shepherd for about a year. Beautiful animals. Love the photos!

Those 'herding balls' are the first and ONLY balls Tanks hasn't been able to destroy - yet anyway.

And those are in deed white pines.

We planted them 17 years ago - they were smaller then.

Lots of TLC . . . and tree spikes
