Absolutely, I caught one on Thursday about 430am blind casting a weedline. The bait just quit buzzing and got heavy. For me, there's little better than a good walking bait bite (well, maybe a steady flipping bite) and I think it's getting to be about that time on our little lakes as we get to fall.

Personally, Ive never liked them.  That second blade can really hurt casting distance and accuracy.  If one blade gets jammed up it throws everything out of whack.  If you want more commotion and sound it may be the way to go

I don't go thru many cavis.  All but 1 that ive bent from swinging fish in the boat, on the bank or over dock railings have straightened out and run good.  Sometimes I throw booyahs with a smaller blade for a different look.  Ive worn a bunch of them out.

Buzzbaits are my favorite . I like the high hookuip percentage over what I get with a toad . Just havent been able to throw one much because of algae .

I've gotten bites on buzzbaits, but I have done WAY better with walking baits, poppers, wakebaits and whopper ploppers. I think it must be regional as that's the consensus up North, but down south they work better. Go figure.

I really like buzz-baites at first light, and towards end of the day. Chuck-it and reel...bass blow it up! Usually run white or white/chart, no trailer.

Fall is my favorite time to throw buzzbaits . The bite may last all day . Just put the trolling motor down and start fishing . I go up the creeks and strive to make good cast . Always cast with a purpose , even if its just casting at a seemingly insignificant spot at the shoreline . Make sidearm cast , dont let the bait sink . Set the hook when you feel the fish , not when a bass nails it , which is easier said than done .  Its easy fishing and so much fun .
