Well truth be told, his coaching record without Brady is under 500 and 136 and 39 with Brady.

Hard to believe it was all Brady though......is it ?

They needed each other IMO,

A good example might be that despite an amazing 4th quarter vs Seattle in Superbowl XLIX

Brady didn't make the interception at the goal line that won the game.

Mahomes vs. Brady. Well, that’s not true. It’s Chiefs vs Buccaneers. But that’s the storyline the pundits will be riveted to the next two weeks.

Brady looked great in the first half; not so good in the second  half. But while many will pick the Chiefs (and that’s a good pick), I would not count ol’ Tom out yet. What the Buccaneers need to do is pressure Mahomes with four rushers and contain him. Keep the receivers covered. Yesterday I think he escaped the pass rush and hit Hill and Kelce when there were no defenders within 10 yards. You can’t let that happen, and it will happen if you blitz.

Yep Ajay, but wasn't that more on pete Carroll? With a monstrous running back like Marshawn lynch and decided to throw. Belichick was delighted by the call.

So was I !

Perhaps PC felt like he needed to 'trick' BB because straight up,

BB was ready for him.

I can see the logic but it certainly seemed liked a gift wrapped SB.

I believe this to be accurate.  You really can't say it definitively after just this one past season.  A bigger sample size is needed.  The Patriots had several important players on defense opt out before the season even started and although Newton is a former MVP, he played pretty terrible this season.

Regardless, that division appears to have a new owner for years to come now.  And its in the form of #billsmafia.

Planning the menu today.  It's pretty easy,  just me and the wife this year.

I'm thinking wings for lunch,  chili and hoagies at half-time. What are you

guys cooking up?

I have to work sunday evening since I'm on second shift now, so probably leftovers for me.

However, I'm gonna make sure the fiance and kids have a good spread before I leave at 230.

I'll be on my own with my wife and kids going to my sister in laws house an hour away and me having to work that night. Depending on how the game is going, might not be able to eat much anyways.

I wonder how much of a "home" game Tampa will be able to treat this as.  When they score, will they be able to fire off the cannon from the pirate ship?

I also read that they donated 7,000 tickets to health care workers who have been fully vaccinated.  Good for them

You know, you got me wondering after I read your post and I'm too lazy to google the answer, has it ever happened in the super bowl that a super bowl team played in their home stadium?

No, it hasn’t. LA hosted a super bowl once at the Rose Bowl Stadium but that technically was not their true “home” venue. In 2017-2018 the Vikings came pretty close but lost in the NFC Title game when the Super Bowl was in Minneapolis.

I guess we’ll just find out when it happens on Sunday.

The closest it’s happened prior is as @gimruissaid in Super Bowl XIV in Pasadena the Steelers beat the LA Rams 31-19 and Super Bowl XIX which was held at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto and the 49ers beat Miami 38-16.
