BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 21, 2020 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 21, 2020 NFC West sweeps it this week. They have a combined 7-1 in 2 weeks. It's still early, but they're turning out to be the toughest division in the NFL again. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 29, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 29, 2020 So were the Chiefs sleeping last week? They've looked like a different team all 3 weeks now. Tonight was impressive. 2 Quote

Super User Bird Posted September 30, 2020 Super User Posted September 30, 2020 Chiefs are clearly the team to beat in the AFC, much expected. Quote

Last night's game could have ended differently if Cam Newton didn't have covid 19. Not saying the Chiefs would have lost. The final scores would have probably been higher. Chiefs tend to kick it up a notch when pushed. I don't think they were under much pressure last night. Quote

We’ll they certainly would have moved the ball better on offense and likely wouldn’t have thrown 3 interceptions that Hoyer and Stidham did combined. Anyone who watches football regularly could see this. Quote

I was not surprised at all by the loss. They should have lost to the Chargers and a rookie QB. They barely got by the Patriots with Brian Hoyer at QB. Their offense hasn't been playing well and their defense has been playing way over their heads. Division rivals know how to play you, and the Raiders match up well to play them and wanted it more. Feels a lot like how they started the season last year, barely sneaking by a bad Lions team and then losing to the Colts and Texans (which I expect them to lose to the Bills on Monday also since they're basically a more talented version of the Raiders team). Hopefully they'll pull it together but they seem very off so far this season. 1 Quote
Super User Teal Posted October 12, 2020 Super User Posted October 12, 2020 I'm just happy with the way the panthers are going. Such a young team, they lost sooooo much talent before the season got going. And for a young team, they are playing good football. I think they are ahead of schedule. I didn't think we would be 3-2 at this point Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 12, 2020 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 12, 2020 Well, we'll see. There's a number of tough divisional games coming up. And as it's known now, the NFC west is the toughest division in the NFL now. So nothing is guaranteed. I'm just glad there weren't any more injuries on the team today. That's a win in itself. Prayers going out to Dak. Quote

Burrow at least has a chance to be something and lead his team down the field at the end just to be spoiled by an injured (allegedly) kicker. Mayfield is Manziel 2.0 and their coaches and front office are terrible. How do you have all those weapons on offensive and come away with a whopping 6 points without a terrible plan and captain of the ship? The Ravens are good but they couldn't even manage any garbage time points. Seems like the Browns turned things around the next few games. although they tried giving away each of their wins. They also play the ravens and the steelers twice and their 1st go around with Baltimore said a lot Baker has a big mouth but he's not lazy So he'll always have that over johnny football. Saw this the other day comparing Baker, Farve and Drew Brees their first 34 starts into their careers He's got a long way to go to have a career like theirs but he's on pace so far Quote
Super User Bird Posted October 13, 2020 Super User Posted October 13, 2020 Most impressive win in week 5 was Fitzmagic dismantling the 49ers secondary.....he's prolonging Tua's debut. Quote
Super User gim Posted October 14, 2020 Super User Posted October 14, 2020 Can't say I saw the Titans beating the Bills like they did last night. They had only practiced in person what, twice, in the last 2 weeks? They sure looked sharp for a team that has been practicing "remotely." Quote
