Sorry i have been asking so much about these two reels, but waiting for their restock has got me doing more research about the two reels. Do You prefer the SLX or SLX XT and besides the svs infinity system in the XT, what other features set it apart from the SLX? I know some people say for $30 it is not worth it, but i found a deal to get it for only $18.

Braking is the most significant difference.  XT has 4+1 bearings, SLX is 3+1.  XT is a touch heavier, but not enough that you would notice.

Besides the technical stuff the SLX is more of a matte finish with a big blue SLX on the side plate, where the XT has a little more gloss to it.  Not sure if that matters, or if that has changed during production in the last year.

That's all I can think of.  Hope it helps. I'll keep it at that unless you would like to know which I would buy.

yes, i would like your insight on which you would buy and does that one extra bearing make a difference?

Good question.  My 14 year old Curado 100B's don't have it and it doesn't make any difference at all.
