Catt, was it hard to evacuate? On the news it looked really bad, with traffic.

Not bad traffic until before we hit Baton Rouge.

Got here in time for a tornado watch!

Laura is heading straight for Lake Charles where I live ?

Storm surge looks intense. Hopefully they are “over” predicting the situation.

This will mess gator season up big time.

Yeah, I am 60ish miles north of you Catt, think we're about in for it this year, our relative good luck over the last several years is going to be paid for this time I think, not at all pleased with the development of this storm, or it's chosen path, hope you and others in line end up getting a pass this time

Leaving IAH for my home in The Woodlands this afternoon I hit a pretty good downpour. Must be one of the first of the outer rainbands to make it this far.

My wife gets off work at 7:00. I’m thinking about hitting the pond lol.

It just sucks. Living in FL on the east coast I know the feeling. The projected storm surge is scary.

To the gulf anglers on here be safe guys for real, watched the press conference today on Fox News about the storm surge possibly being high as a two story building, if you have the chance to evacuate from that area please do. It could save your life. We suffered tremendously during Hurricane Sandy up here. Didn't have power for 7 days and had to deal with flooding...

Storm is supposed to make landfall tonight right?

A real beast of a storm.  Some much warm water out there this thing could reach 5 level.  I pray all in the danger zone have taken Adequate precautions!  God bless, you are in our thoughts and prayers!

I just heard that on the severe weather channel report. It’s at 145 mph right now. Doesn’t need to speed up much to be a Cat 5. 11 mph.

Hope everyone stays safe and comes through this okay. It is supposed be in here Friday dumping a bunch of rain on us. I hope @Catt knows that he is not allowed to fish in the aquarium at BPS unless he is doing a fishing demo. He also has to cut the hooks off of his baits so he can't actually hook one.

I now live in southern AR, just north of Monroe, LA. They're forecasting winds of 45 mph gusting at 75 to 90 mph per Weather Underground. That plus lots and lots of rain. This is new to me.
