Imbit Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Hi folks - I'm going to try one of these small boats for electric motor only lakes & ponds. Weight is a huge consideration for my old back & I like the extra length of the Bass Hunter Stalker II. My local Dicks Sporting Goods carries the Pelican 10E & it's a couple hundred bucks cheaper, but 40# heavier. I guess my question is if anybody has any positive or negative experiences with either brand they'd like to share ... many thanks. John Quote
wagn Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I have the pelican. I love that little boat. Unsinkable, stable, like a floating suitcase. It's not the lightest boat that's for sure. But you if your just dragging it off a pickup or down into the water it's really not bad. I just didn't want to pay the extra for the bass hunter Quote
iFisch Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Search "nucanoe". I cannot post links until I have 10 posts. Quote
PlasticsJunkie Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I have a Sun Dolphin Sportsman that I use on small ponds and lakes around here. Works great and is pretty light. Quote
