Esox pro Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Im getting some new reels and was wondering how many spare spools I should get Quote
Super User Angry John Posted August 21, 2020 Super User Posted August 21, 2020 Are we talking bait casting that all use the same spool or spinning all different sizes. I have 10 bait casters that use the same spool and 3 spares/unique spools. A spare spool for a stella is major money so we need a lot more information Quote
Esox pro Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Got a trion 30 and getting another one for my other rod Quote
garroyo130 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I usually get 1 extra spool only and use 1 for copoly and 1 for braid. Quote

Super User JustJames Posted August 21, 2020 Super User Posted August 21, 2020 None. I don’t see no reason to switch between braid and mono. Once the line is low, just simple add backing material or re-spool. From what I see from a lot of you posts, you like to complicate things over. You should stop thinking and go enjoy fishing if that what you are after. One word for you young man “ KISS “ Keep it (stupid) simple. 3 Quote
