The only one have haven’t really been able to get into or maybe haven’t heard the right song is Coulter Wall. His songs are ok IMO but nothing I’m going to seek out at this point.

These are my top three favorites.

I like Rocky Mountain Rangers, that sounds good to me, it has a good tempo. I’ll check some more out tomorrow. By his music you’d never guess he’s 26! ?

I enjoy listening to some Classic country songs. The country music back then was much better than the new ''country music'' they are playing the past couple years.

Understatement of the century.

One day me and my sister watched Youtube videos of many of these young country twangers talking without their phony accents. You can't get a recording deal in that business without one. They all sound like the generic fake country accent I can do at a moment's notice. "Well by golly ain't that a hoot! Y'all 'er so funny!" See! Easy.

However! I will say that country music is at least not vulgar like some other junk I've heard. They pretty much keep it clean which I can respect.

Alot of good (real) country music nowadays, but you’ll never hear it listening to the radio.

I thought Garth Brooks was bubblegum BS so my opinion on country music won’t be shared by everyone.

I'm with you.   He was an entertainer, but I prefer musicians.

A few of these guys are friends and picking buddies of mine.

My Dad got to go see him in Don’s last concert in Amarillo. Dad said if you closed your eyes you’d never know he was an old man.

I agree. Country music is one of my favorite music I listen to, but I prefer listening to older Country Music. I do like to listen to other genres of music, some that are very different from Country Music. In the end, you should listen to music that brings happiness in your life, that is what is most important.

LOL. I don't listen to a lot of country, I mean, how sad can you be about your pickup, your tractor or your cow, I do like when country guitar players jam with some rock guys, most of  them boys can play. My taste in music is very eclectic, I listen mostly to classic rock and blues, but I'll listen to jazz, R&B, and folk, as well as classical. First week into a deployment abroad, being the new guy, I'm sitting at my desk surrounded by young guys (I was 56 at the time) and was listening to some oldies and prog rock, so "grandpa" starts getting the treatment from the 20 and 30 somethings about get with the times, so without missing a beat I turn down the computer speaker, and break out with an Eminem track from Relapse, and rap it the whole way through unedited. The look on our CPO's face was priceless. We did have country night at the MWR rec center on Tuesdays, and I must say it was a good time.
