Super User Dan: Posted July 19, 2007 Super User Posted July 19, 2007 We've had them at Dick's for a while now. I just got a few to give them a shot on the local rivers for smallmouth. Quote
bassnleo Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Squid, don't try the Gulp leeches, they don't work Quote
bass109 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Gulp goby is one of few gulp baits that work. Quote
squid Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 THEY'VE BEEN OUT? CRAP!!!!....lol I saw them last year when Joe Balog was testing them for Berkley. I have been waiting so long...and now you tell me they have been out..... I like the sinking minnows. Trust me on the leeches, I never even liked the Josh pork ones. So I wont try those. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted July 20, 2007 Super User Posted July 20, 2007 Yeah, I'd say we've had them at the store for at least a month, maybe two. If you find a good way to rig them, let me know...I've been having trouble finding a good method. I tried putting them on a jig head but I didn't like it too much. Maybe I'll give it another shot later. Quote
bassnleo Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Trust me, the leeches won't catch a 5 + pounder Not that I have or anything already....... Oh hey Squid, you get your hands on any 4 lb Gamma Edge yet? I just got 2 spools and it is AWESOME. Switched my drop shot over to 4 lb and still have yet to break off a fish, even around zebra's on Lake Erie. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted July 27, 2007 Super User Posted July 27, 2007 I've been wanting to try these for smallmouth but I would like to here how you guys have been rigging them. Quote

No, so far this year I have broke off 3 big fish on my 6lb...so I will stay with that. I also need to relax and play them...I always forget I have light line on when I try to bring them in... Quote
