I just looked at a You Tube video by Trey Kistler and he showed the Reel & Feel rod that uses the Toray 800 graphite fused to S2 Glass for a softer tip.

Does any one have any experience and/or opinion on these rods?

I have the 7'2 MH and like it a lot. It's way more versatile than I thought it was going to be. It can toss just about any moving style bait with it.  I've used it for midsize cranks, traps, square bills, spooks, ploppers, spinnerbaits, and bladed jigs. My only gripe (and it doesn't affect the performance) is that the glass tip section is a touch crooked and looks a bit Ugly Stickish.

The latest model doesn’t have the white tip. The rods are perfect for moving baits.

I'm not super concerned about the aesthetics, but now that you mention it, the tip does look like the signature Ugly Stick.  I got a 7'6 heavy/moderate, and it's definitely powerful.  In fact, I only use it for deep diving crankbaits and I've decided it's fine for the LC trap (it's a little heavier than most traps).  As for me, I'm definitely not in love with it, but I got at a year end sale for $180.  I've got to say I've decided glass is where it's at for crankbaits and me.

I have the 7'2" and 6'11" versions (white tip) in med-heavy/mod.

The 7'2" is my dedicated Chatterbait rod. I love it. The tip lets you feel every little thing, yet there's enough backbone for when I wanna rip the bait thru grass if it gets hung up.

I have two of them a 69mh and a 69m. I use them both for treble hooked baits and the do the job well. The soft top casts well and has lots of give fighting the fish. But you can still pull hard into the power of the butt on hook sets for single hooked moving baits too.
