FLW Pro Circuit event on Lake Erie

Lots to consider when deciding where to fish.

Some guys ran to the Detroit river and then up into Lake St Clair

This only left them 2:30-3 hours to fish

 

Of course, Jacob Wheeler is in the race for first

Everyone's trying to catch Justin Lucas and his maxscent flat worm

Until Sturgeon Bay, I didn't realize that Lucas was such a good smallie fisherman!

Wheeler isn’t human! His last two events resulted in a win and 2nd, now he was leading at the beginning of the day today....

I rode a ferry out of Sandusky Ohio and huge waves were splashing onto the cars. Huge I say! Likely to drown a man. I considered kissing the ground when we made it back

Happy for Lucas.  Wheeler is unbelievable.  A first and two seconds in SUPER Tournaments with that many boats is insane. Plus a BPT win this year.  WOW.

Maybe I'm just a sour puss, but FLW/MLF/BPT just seems so dang weak this season.

I would disagree. I thought the BPT events were great this year.  The 2 pound minimum was great.  Two things stand out. Ott Defoe's monster 3rd period in his win, and the Heavy Hitters event.  I enjoyed the heavy hitters event more than any tournament I can remember.  The huge payouts for big fish added a lot of excitement. I will say both FLW/BPT and BASS having to cancel events and move them around has made it  a little harder to follow.
