Esox pro Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 I just slide them on there at home so when i need a new senko i just slide 2 on them
Esox pro Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Just looking for what you guys think im not a fan of experimenting i just want to know what works
Esox pro Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Im thinking of getting orings with a inside diameter of 3/8 or 1/2 what do you guys think i use 2 orings crossed
Hewhospeaksmuchbull Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 This whole O-ring thing. Man it confusing, a real head scratcher. This is what I do: Take hook put through worm, cast, catch fish.
Esox pro Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Oring allow you to catch more fish on one senko wacky rigged the problem is due to size of oring they tear senko in half So im trying to find out what larger size orings to get

Leave them bunched on the slender end of your o-ring tool until you are ready to use them. This will allow the o-ring to maintain it's elasticity and hold your bait much better. 1
Hutch13 Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 I find the 1/4" o-rings to be too tight for 5" Senkos and similar baits. These o-rings will cut into the bait especially if they are soft. These are the ones that I've used: Bass Pro Shops XPS Quick Rigger Replacement Rings Size: 6 mm (1/4") ID, 9.5 mm (3/8") OD, 1.75 mm (1/16+") CS Price: $2.99/25 You can find this size o-ring cheaper here: Buna O-Rings Size: 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD x 1/16" CS Price: $1.00/100 Currently I am using 5/16" o-rings which are a little loose but they do generally hold the worm. I've lost a few when a fish has grabbed the worm by the end and pulled it off. These are: Buna O-Rings Size: 5/16 ID x 7/16 OD x 1/16 CS Price: $1.00/100 The next time I order o-rings I am going to try the 7mm size which is between the 1/4" and 5/16", about 9/32". You can find those here: Metric Buna O-Rings Size: 7mm (9/32") ID x 10mm (13/32") OD x 1.5mm (1/16") CS Price: $1.00/25
Esox pro Posted August 16, 2020 Author Posted August 16, 2020 The Id of my current orings are 1/4 just like yours but they cut mine in half so am thinking about getting Orings with the id being 3/8” or 1/2 11 hours ago, Big Rick said: If you leave them on the larger diameter portion of the tool, like in your picture, you will stretch the o-ring causing it to fail. Kinda want them to stretch as it seems to make the senko last longer
Esox pro Posted August 16, 2020 Author Posted August 16, 2020 For the double cross the id is 1/4 and while they fit senkos sometimes come off and while oring held on better lowered hook up so do you think going to 3/8 id with 1/2 od is too large and if so what size fits without tearing the senko
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 16, 2020 Super User Posted August 16, 2020 Go crazy and buy a couple of each to try. Good night Irene. 1 2 1
