I was at Walmart to get 50lb PP and well not much were on the shelves in the fishing isle, still.

I need a filler spool of 50lbs and noticed that this was a new packaging for PP. They had 10lb PP in the regular packaging. I don't think I got fake PP, but the packaging threw me off.

I did buy the 150 yards filler spool. Felt like regular PP.

You guys notice this new packaging?

I saw that also. It’s not fake. Seen that packaging at The tackle shop. There is a V2 PP out now. Supposed better performance. Not sure how long that’s been out. Pretty recent I believe.

I was lucky enough to be at Walmart yesterday when they were stocking a fresh, massive shipment of fishing supplies for the first time all summer. I picked up A LOT of stuff. One of the things I noticed was this new packaging as well.

Picked up a fresh pack like that of 30lb and it was complete trash. If this is real power pro I’m really disappointed with them.

The line is exactly the same , they just changed the package.

Picked up some 30# and it was literally coming appart as I tried to spool it . Braid was frayed in some spots  and not from guides or anything.  Took some pics and sent power pro a email about it .  Had some sufix 832 So I spooled it up and was good to go
