Unless it's a big salt-water spinner - anything over about 10# test for mono or FC is NOT recommended on a spinning reel. I get by with 10# Yo-Zuri on my Pflueger 35 (3000 size), but I treat it with KVD every trip to make it manageable. If you want heavier test line on a spinner - braid with leader is your best bet.

I use a knot that I saw Gary Klein tie in a video on youtube. Similar to the Double Shindo down by the barn knot but not exactly. He never did say what it was called but I have had good success with it.

I believe it is the Shaw Gringsby knot

I would call it "The Ugly Knot".

I works great, it’s just big and 3 tags can catch a lot of junk

Aside from the time I didn't win the blue ribbon at the county fair for prettiest knot, it has done well for me.

One question regarding Sunline Sniper FC not sure if any of you know this information , a 7lb line really breaks at 7lbs?

Only knot for any Fluorocarbon is the double pitzen. I also am pretty fond of the fish n fool and SDJ knot. There fish n fool is one of the only knots I've found to be great with all line.
