I haven't been able to really purchase any powerbait products that I need anywhere in the past two months or so. It seems many products that I use are on backorder from most websites and even the stores I go to around here including mom and pop stores just don't really have anything to offer from Berkley as of lately.

As of now Tackle Warehouse for example are on a continued backorder for many items such as the Pitboss brand and power worms. I also noticed that it's impossible to find chigger craws aswell...

What's going on at Berkley? Did COVID-19 halt production of everything? They even restocked senkos which were on a long backorder...

I’m sure it’s like almost every other big company right now, between shutdowns and skeleton crews in factories and warehouses, nothing is or was being made for a while. In the construction industry, materials are quite scarce in lots of areas. I just installed a wood stove last week that I ordered in early April, usually when I order one it shows up in a week or two max. Just the way things are right now.

Yep, went to Home Depot to buy a dishwasher, most were on backorder, ended buying display model..at almost half off though, which was nice.

It seems to be hit or miss. I just ordered a few packages of maxscent flatworms directly from Berkley on Sunday and you can't find those anywhere. They are supposed to be delivered by tomorrow evening.

Btw i see the pitboss is available directly from the Berkley website. Shipping was only $4.99 which is better than TW.

I placed an order with Berkley week before last and received it in full last week.

Got some Assorted MaxScent;  flat worms of course, Generals & Hit worms to try out.

I'm sure they're trying to deal with Covid related supply chain problems just like everyone else. Then that recent explosion of publicity from MLF/Bassmasters/FLW all going up north and everyone seemingly tearing them up on Berkley products, I'm sure that only added to the shortage of supply (though I'm sure Berkley is loving it).

I ordered 2 100 ct packs of 7" power worms in May. Only received one. Took me 2 weeks to speak with someone an she said the other pack was on the way. That was June 7th. Still haven't got them and cannot get an answer to an email or can't get them to answer a phone call.

I noticed on their website there's a general message about supply issues.  You can't order rods from the site until late August, per the last time I checked.  Covid crushed the supply chain and then the demand for fishing anything went to a level never seen.  Bad mix.

This is pretty much across the board for all Pure Fishing brands. Mitchell has very few reels in stock, so does Pflueger. I wouldn't be surprised that Fenwick, Penn, Shakespeare, and Stren are also limited in what they have available.

The fishing section of the Walmarts in my area are depressingly empty.  Not sure about the baits you've mentioned, but good luck buying hooks and/or sinkers.

I just want to put in a good word for Berkley. I ordered 3 packages of the elusive flatworms on Sunday night. I wasn't sure what to even expect. I got shipping notification first thing on Tuesday morning and my lures arrived today on a $4.99 shipping rate. Great experience, five stars.

Early July I gobbled up all the black/blue flake crazy legs chiggers I could find at miejers.  I’ll just cut the attenas off and than they become regular chiggers.

getting this late into summer I wonder if the big box stores will get any more fishing stuff in.  Better bet might be to order direct.

That's unfortunate hopefully they make it right once we get through these strange times we are living in.

Walmart bro...they have a good selection of Berkley products and I still saw plenty there today.

All the walmarts around here are wiped. Pretty depressing to see honestly, it's been like this for months.

I see that YUM is having issues too, some specific colors of Dingers and impossible to find on BPS and other stores

That's true, reduced supple and heightened demand is a bad mix

I placed an order around the 1st of August, that included 2 rods and 2 reels.

Surprisingly, I took delivery about a week later. Maybe I just got under the wire.
