try Dove Men Care Extra Fresh 48+ deodorant. I've never been able to wear anti-perspirant more than once in a row without breaking out in a red rash. My skin has some reaction to it. So I just took more showers and used regular deodorant. I went on vacation in FL and forgot mine. I bought this on a whim at a drug store and it works great. It lasts longer than regular deodorant.

However, if I came home from fishing smelling like I just had a shower, fishing was not that good.

Same here.  Tom's of Maine solved that.  Works as well as any others I've tried and maybe most important to me is that it is totally unscented

Target sells an exclusive Old Spice antiperspirant called Gentlemen's Blend. I use the Aloe and Wild Sage scent. It's free of dyes, parabens and low residue. Most comfortable wearing antiperspirant I ever wore. They have a matching bar soap and body wash. It smells a bit like Safeguard soap.

Keeps me dry and smelling good all day.

The one I mentioned isn’t anti perspirant, I guess I missed that part. Sweat is a natural reAction to heat so instead of trying to squash it, I just get one that covers up the smells for a day

The white stick Degree is the only thing I've been able to use. Every other one I've tried caused a reaction and burns so bad I have to walk around like a scarecrow the rest of the day.

About 10 years ago I gave up using that poison. Was a smelly week or so but after that my body readjusted to its natural state.

Exactly. If I can get within 50 feet of a doe before she smells me, I figure I'm OK with people, too.     jj

It’s hard to play the wind when approaching humans though

That begs the question, will anything change after a wind shift?

Did anyone mention an old fashioned shower or even a swim once or twice a day?

Degree solids, whatever scent is the least obnoxious these days. Old Spice smells like Old Spice. I'm using it now because I ran out of my other and this is my emergency stick. I do not like that smell and it doesn't work as long for me.

There's a guy in the General Fishing forum who is asking how to clean deodorant off his rod handle. Maybe he can scrape some off for ya ;)

There are some reports that researchers suspect there may be a link between the use of anti perspirants and alzheimer's. You have to be careful .
