Super User Spankey Posted August 12, 2020 Super User Posted August 12, 2020 Good post. I’m not a big time Tourney guy. Anything I do is at a small time scale. But I want to keep my fish alive for another day. My fish are never in there all that long. Certainly not 8 hours. My livewell is always in good shape, operational and cleaned after use. I have some peroxide, C&R stowed away to help promote fish health. We (grandsons and I) just keep them healthy for some pic and measurements. Most times putting them back in the same hole we caught them in. I’m more conscious about the tank temp. Sometime I bring solid frozen soda or water bottles in a cooler to keep tank from getting too hot. But most times for me it is immediate release. It’s not good for any bass to be tanked up for any length of time. You can try to use any number of the additives out there. Stress is not good for them. They don’t want to be in that tank. I sort of like MLF weigh and immediate release. Fish goes right back in where he came from. To each his own. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted August 12, 2020 Super User Posted August 12, 2020 I often have a well filled with C&R especially when I have NOOBs with me.... along with a bag of ice and isopropyl alcohol 1 Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 22, 2020 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 22, 2020 Yup, C&R is definitely the best option. My reason for posting is this because a few people think Sure-Life products are hocus-pocus because other competing products don't work as advertised. In fact, some even harm fish, whereas Sure-Life products actually improve the health of the fish. Sure-Life products are the only fish care products independently studied, verified, and proven to be effective for proper C&R. Watch the video to learn more about this. This is why I firmly stand behind their products. I take fish care seriously. I have literally refused to allow others to advertise here because their effectiveness is questionable. Sure-Life is often lumped into this other group simply because people just don't know the difference. Watch the video. You'll learn A LOT about fish care! Quote
